Selected engagements, products, and open-source work from twenty-plus years of building and shipping for ambitious companies. Several companies and products were acquired.
Founding engineer, technical lead, and product owner of a content automation platform for large retail brands. The product automates data-driven creative production at scale, routing product and campaign data through configurable templates into a high-volume Adobe InDesign output engine that produces marketing creative for brands with large catalogs and multi-market operations.
Core capabilities include product information management (PIM), digital asset management (DAM), campaign planning, graphical design workflows, collaborative review, automated design, and both digital and print publication, forming a full content operations stack in one platform. Services span native Linux, macOS, and Windows components, with integrations to multiple ERP systems.
Scaled to hundreds of active users across multiple retailers during the early years, and today the product serves thousands of users at major European retailers.
Built the first versions end-to-end: product design and architecture, the InDesign automation engine, data pipelines, cross-platform services, ERP integrations, infrastructure and hardware selection, hosting, operations, and customer support. Owned the product through its first decade, grew the engineering team, and was later brought back to stabilize the platform after another team had taken it over.
The product was spun off as an independent company and later acquired by a private equity firm.
Creator and CTO of a brand management, digital asset management, and web-to-print platform serving industrial and heavy-equipment manufacturers across global markets. Financial Framework. A foundation for serious Salesforce financial integration with accounting systems (Exact Online), with two-way synchronization, live accounts receivable and accounts payable data components, multi-currency support, and subscription and entitlement handling.
Billing Engine. Heavy-duty batch invoicing at tens of thousands of invoices per day, supporting complex product structures, flexible invoicing schedules, subscription-based billing, credit notes, and configurable billing from any custom object, integrated natively with the Financial Framework.
Lightning Signature. A native Salesforce electronic signature app that keeps documents and metadata on-platform, with dynamic content templates, audit logging, and a per-signed-document billing model.
The parent company was later acquired along with Financial Framework and Billing Engine.
Selected Engagements
Migrated a legacy Salesforce codebase from an unmanaged org-level deployment to a namespaced 2GP managed package. Refactored application code and flows to be namespace-aware and packaged them for distribution to multiple subscriber organizations in a permit-sensitive industry.
Built the supporting infrastructure and tooling for packaging, refactored the codebase to be more defensive, introduced frameworks, and added structured error logging and traceability.
Built several integrations, a health check dashboard, CI/CD for 2GP builds, and data migration tooling (SFDMU). Ongoing Apex development on the platform layer, with integrations across accounting, payments, government APIs, payment providers, and registration systems.
The codebase spans 140+ custom objects, 300+ flows, and 800+ Apex classes.
