Salesforce ISV & Platform Engineering
Architecture, managed packages, integrations, and hands-on Apex from an engineer who has built and run platforms on Salesforce for over a decade.
Profile
I came to Salesforce as a software engineer, after a first decade of building and shipping products in Java and Ruby. That background shapes how I treat the platform: packages built like real software, with CI/CD, defensive code, structured logging, and architecture that holds up at subscriber-org scale.
I co-founded a Salesforce ISV whose AppExchange products were acquired along with the parent company, and I run SMTP Relay, an email infrastructure product trusted by tier-1 enterprises in the Salesforce ecosystem.
What I do
Managed packages
2GP packaging, namespacing, and ISV, OEM, and Trialforce distribution to subscriber organizations.
Platform architecture
Org strategy, data modeling, and design decisions that survive growth and audits.
Hands-on development
Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flows, written to be tested, traced, and maintained.
Integrations
ERP, accounting, payments, government APIs, identity sync, and document platforms.
CI/CD and tooling
Automated 2GP builds, namespace management, environment management, health dashboards, and data migration (SFDMU).
Rescue engagements
Failed deliveries, legacy codebases, and undocumented orgs brought back under control.
Case Study
From legacy org to Salesforce ISV product
Two earlier attempts to package this platform had failed. The third attempt was mine, and it shipped: an OEM-licensed 2GP managed package, taken through the AppExchange security review and built in tandem with a live production platform. Roughly 150,000 lines of Apex across 800+ classes and 400+ flows, with the namespace conversion automated end to end.

ISV readiness assessment
I check your org or package against what a 2GP managed package, an AppExchange security review, and an OEM licence will demand: namespace readiness, restricted features, data model and code that won't survive review, packaging and CI/CD. You get a go/no-go, the list of what has to change, and three priced options for doing it.
Selected Work
Salesforce AppExchange managed packages
Co-founded an ISV and built its AppExchange-listed products: a financial integration framework connecting Salesforce to accounting systems such as Exact Online and Twinfield, a billing engine invoicing at tens of thousands of invoices per day, and a native e-signature app. The parent company was later acquired along with the financial and billing products.
Advertising order management and invoicing
A Salesforce-based platform for advertising sales, order capture, and invoicing, consolidating disconnected legacy systems and putting the company's full advertising revenue through a single system, integrated into the downstream accounting platform.
Email infrastructure for Salesforce
Founded a product that routes Salesforce email through your own authenticated mail server for deliverability, sender reputation, and full control over SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and TLS. Trusted by tier-1 listed Dutch and international enterprises, delivering over 3 million messages per month.
